How NovéaMed Clarifies the Complete Cost Before You Travel

Clients should not have to become experts in international hospital billing. NovéaMed communicates with clinical partners to clarify the proposal and organize the information needed for an informed decision.

Before travel, we work to identify the treatment scope, physician and facility fees, expected diagnostics, anesthesia when applicable, estimated hospital stay, selected accommodation, transfers, and planned follow-up. We also request clarification when a cost could change after an in-person examination or additional testing.

Why final pricing can change

Some treatment plans remain estimates until the specialist completes a physical examination, reviews new imaging, or confirms the exact procedure. Dental treatment may change after three-dimensional imaging. Surgery may require a different technique after examination. Fertility care may vary according to medication response and laboratory services. These are clinical variables, not hidden fees, but they should be explained as early as possible.

What clients receive

Our goal is to provide a readable summary of the proposed care, package inclusions, estimated timing, payment milestones, and important conditions. When information is incomplete, we seek clarification from the clinical partner rather than placing that burden on the client.

This is one of the strongest reasons to use a medical concierge: the coordination happens before the client boards a flight.
